Kevin & Bean's morning show is known for card tricks, slide shows and abuse of their assistant, Lightning. Kevin & Bean say the best regular feature on their show is the popular "Socket Talk."
Other members of the Kevin & Bean show include Michael the Maintanence Man, Jimmy the Sports Guy, traffic princess Lisa May, newsboy Doc on the ROQ and, at the other end of the Realistic Plug'n Talk, producer Frank Murphy. They are occasionally visited by wood expert Mr. Birchum.
Kevin & Bean Singles Parties are becoming a favorite way for KROQ listeners to get laid. Several relationships that began at Singles Parties have resulted in divorces. Themes of previous Singles Parties have included bowling, roller skating, camping, bingo, a luau, a Losers party and the annual Kevin & Bean Prom. Since Kevin & Bean have always discouraged their listeners from reproducing, condoms are readily available at all Singles Parties.
Kevin & Bean like to spend their free time rubbing against things. Many listeners don't know that they are not only radio personalities, but muscular martial arts instructors as well. Kevin & Bean find radio an ideal career since they do not show up in photographs.
For each of the past five Christmases, Kevin & Bean have compiled an album of holiday songs and tasteless comedy bits. The annual cassette is sold for $1.67 with proceeds benefitting the Starlight Foundation of Southern California. Celebrities who have appeared on previous cassettes include Cindy Crawford, Bobcat Goldthwait, Johnny Cash, Ed McMahon, Barry White, Geraldo Rivera, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, William Shatner and Tori Amos.
The Kevin & Bean show airs weekdays from 5:30 to 10:00 am on 106.7 KROQ .
